LUVERNE – The Minnesota Medical PAC announced the endorsement of Joe Schomacker for the Minnesota House of Representatives.

MEDPAC's endorsement is an acknowledgment of Schomacker's support of many issues of importance to the physicians of Minnesota and the patients they serve.

“I am very excited to receive the endorsement of MEDPAC,” Schomacker said. “Having a strong healthcare system is important to Southwest Minnesota, helping maintain a healthy society and creating good paying jobs for our region.”

MEDPAC is the political arm of the Minnesota Medical Association, representing more than 11,000 physicians, medical residents and medical students throughout Minnesota.

Schomacker saw many avenues of our region's healthcare system when he worked as an Admissions Clerk for six years at Sanford Hospital in Luverne.

“I am ready to work with this group on healthcare issues in the legislature,” Schomacker continues. “While we don't agree on every issue, MEDPAC clearly sees me desire to work hard and do the right thing for Southwest Minnesota.”

Schomacker is running for State Representative in District 22A, which includes all of Rock, Pipestone, and Murray Counties, as well as Nobles County (excluding Worthington and the southeast corner).
